July 8-10th
Xtreme Barrel Racing was held at the beautiful Blackhawk Arena in Salina Utah.
Despite numbers being lower because of many races rescheduled on this
July weekend great checks were awarded.
200 plus contestants vied for the $12,000 added money, an excellent award
packages and an Xtreme vacation package to the 2011 Breeders’ Cup,
Xtreme vacation was awarded to Kira Bilgrave from Durango, Colorado.

Saddlery custom saddles were awarded to, Tina Mogle from Gunnison Utah won the
open saddle. 18/40 saddle winner was Helina Thomas from Spanish Fork Utah.
Dave Graff
won the cowboy race with a speedy 15.5, winning the rifle was Lonn Thorton from
Heber City Utah, rifle was donated by Bartlett Webster Law Firm, custom stirrups
were made and donated by Shawn Hubbard, winning the stirrups were 2nd
place finisher Kash Keller.
Ten and
under champion was Makayla Brown, the lucky bike drawing was won by Layvee
Williams. HEI gives 100% payback in the 10 and under class an award every
contestant with a prize.
HEI’s final
event of the year is scheduled for August 25th – 28th.
Xtreme 15 finals will be held Friday August 26th. Open jackpot
will be held on Thursday August 25th, and the open 5-D final race
will be held on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th.
