My name is Darcee Shepherd.  I live in Levan,UT.  I am married to 

Casey Shepherd and we have one son, 18 month old Cajun.   I teach 6th 

grade to support my horse habit.  In the small amount of free time I 

have I like to read, play basketball and softball and hunt.  I also 

enjoy training young horses and seeing them progress into finished 

horses.

The horse I will be riding in the Xtreme 15 is my 14 year old gelding 

Hemps Red Wolf.  Wolf and I were able to compete last year in the 

Xtreme 15 and finish in the top 20 and I am happy to be running in it 

again.  Wolf has been a huge blessing to me and taught me so much in 

our 9 years of running together.  His greatest trait is his honesty 

and his big heart.

I would like to thank the HEI team for their hard work and wonderful
