My Name is Shawnalee Johnson Hinkins. I am 24 years old, grew up in Millercreek, UT and come from a family of 6 siblings.  I grew up riding horses and competing in youth 4-H and then High School Rodeo.  As a child and teen, I always dreamed of being nothing more than a great horse trainer.

  In 2006 I married my best friend, Chase Hinkins, and was fortunate enough to marry into an outstanding family too.  Ross and Jeannine Hinkins, my Father and Mother in Law have been a huge support and driving force in my barrel racing career.  Ross has always supplied me with an arsenal of great horses and opportunities to learn from the best in the business.  They truly have been a huge factor in helping me accomplish and become closer to many of my dreams and goals.

 In the Xtreme 15 race I will be running an 11 year old home bred Mare by the name of 'Miss Jet On Hugo', AKA- Snickers. She by Ross's Stallion, Hugo Streakin and out of a Jet On mare. I received Snickers in 2008 from Mikka Dahle Smith,  who purchased her from Ross as a two year old.  I have been running her for the last two years, and have run 15's in Salina on her multiple times.  She has been such a great teacher and confidence builder for me and gives 110 percent every time.  

 It is an honor and a privelige for me to be able to run in the Xtreme 15 race, and compete with the Top 10 percent in the Industry.  Good luck to everyone, and thanks to the HEI team for producing such an amazing race.
